On “Space and Time,” Pamela Ruby Russell has a Judy Collins kind of thing going with her voice. Kitoto Sunshine Love’s “Proud Soul Heritage” is a throwback to ’70s R&B. Joe Black’s instrumental “Blackenstein” is pure, ferocious metal. Your song “I Thought About You” is straight-up pop. That’s the way it’s been throughout the series. Was that the plan all along?
