Singer Songwriter Showcase! 8-9:45 PM
Sam Chase
Sam Chase is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist from Scituate, MA. After graduating from Berklee College of Music he released his debut album Songs For Someone in 2009. A finalist in the ’09 Solarfest Songwriting Competition in Vermont and winner of the 2010 Connecticut Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, Chase has established himself as one of
the premiere up and coming singer/songwriters in New England. Sam’s music blends folk, blues, country and rock into a smooth, melodic sound that is familiar yet completely original. Artists like James Taylor and Paul Simon come to mind when hearing Chase, yet he sings with a voice entirely his own-both soothing and effortless. Sam is set to release his second album ‘Every Time I’m Home’ in March 2012. For more info visit

Jason Labbe
BiographyJason is a local Boston musician born and raised. A self taught guitarist and vocalist he has always had a passion for music. His musical style could be compared to that of John Mayer, Howie Day, Jason Mraz or similar acoustic rock artists, though it does not stop there. Lenny Solomon
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Lenny Solomon's style has been compared to Guy Clark, early Bob Dylan, John Prine, and Jerry Jeff Walker. Solomon began his career in the late 1960s. A fixture in the Idler Coffeehouse in Harvard Square, Cambridge, he regularly performed there Friday nights for over eight years.
The Idler was a training ground for such luminaries as Geoff Bartley, Paul Rishell, Spider John Koerner, and Ric Ocasek. From the 1980s through the mid-1990s Solomon continued to write songs but rarely performed choosing rather to raise his family and work in environmental research at Harvard University. In 1997 Solomon got back into performing and in 2002 released his CD Not Life Threatening. Armando’s Pie (2004) and Maybe Today (2007), followed. Solomon performs in concerts, clubs, restaurants, coffeehouses, and colleges.
