THRU THE KEYHOLE BURLESQUE TO RETURN TO CLUB BOHEMIA
During the fourteen years that Club Bohemia played at the Kirkland Cafe, the Thru the Keyhole Burlesque troupe was a regular attraction on the show. Since Club Bohemia moved across town to the Cantab, however, the burlesque troupe has yet to perform at the club's new venue. This circumstance will change on Thursday, October 20, 2011 when the troupe appears on the Club Bohemia show as part of The No Hipsters Allowed Revue.
The revue is a production of Marc Zegans...also known as the Naragansett Beer Poet Laureat...and Zegans will emcee the show in his inimitable style. The revue will feature live music by Aaron Shadwell andthe Duet Jameson. In addition to the Thru the Keyhole troupe, burlesque dancers Stella Swingline and Madame Karen Lee are also on the show. And, the night will include epic tales by master storyteller Brendyn Schneider.
Doors open at 7:45 (The Cantab Lounge, downstairs, 738 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, Cambridge). The first show is at 8 PM. Admission is $10.00 per person. The show is 21+
